With experience of almost a decade, Mbewe Legal Practice is a female citizen owned law firm that provides a comprehensive range of legal solutions and services. Its legal members are members of the law society in good standing and a council member of the Law Society.
The Founder of Mbewe Legal Practice, Njiramanda Mbewe, completed her LLB in 2011 in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, at the Nelson Mandela University. She then started working for reputable legal chambers of Advocate Sidney Pilane and thereafter for a reputable Law firm in Gaborone where she was an associate Attorney. Mbewe Legal Practice was founded on the 1st of July 2016.
The goal of the firm is that of not only providing quality legal service but also of building a continuing and great personal relationship between Attorney and client, a trait most often rare but essential. This had led to the firm’s ability to retain existing clientele and attract new clientele.
Relationships
The firm has strategic relations with other firms both in Botswana and South Africa, notably in Gaborone and Francistown and Maun, where it is able to either brief or receive a brief depending on the matter.
The firm has also, when it is necessary briefed advocates in Botswana and South Africa. It is vital to state that not every case requires an Advocate. Advocates are chosen in consultation with the client. The client is free to suggest which Advocate it prefers. Advocates are chosen according to their skill, years of experience, success rates and fee structure. Usually the advocate is required to submit his/her credentials together with the fees structure.
The Firm has worked with Advocate Sidney T. Pilane a Motswana citizen who has over 30 years of experience both in Botswana and South Africa. He handles diverse range of cases. He has also been a mentor to the founder.
