In addition to the services we have addressed herein above, we give general advice and opinions on any legal question. We also advise clients on the law both in theory and practice. Services of this nature are mostly on a one-off basis, but a client shall nonetheless still be required to open a file for that purpose. We wish to emphasise the point that in all cases, it is the client’s responsibility to provide us with such information as may be necessary to enable us to help him/her. In cases involving litigation, it is the client’s responsibility to provide us with the evidence to support its case. Often we shall advise client on ways to secure such evidence and where to find it. The client shall act upon our advice to bring the evidence forward. Where there are difficulties to procure the evidence, we shall advice on Court procedure to compel production or submission of the evidence. There are cases where it may become necessary for the client to engage private investigators or experts. In such cases, we shall require the client’s instructions with adequate financial cover for purposes of instructing the private investigator or expert.
